Black Metal subculture in Scandinavia and especially in Norway is given a higher significance than in other countries. American photographer and self-confessed Black Metal fan Peter Beste explored the Norwegian Black Metal movement over a period of seven years. The partially strange results can be seen at Pool Gallery in Berlin until April 28th. Below a portrait of Peter Beste himself, more pictures from the opening of the 'True Norwegian Black Magic' exhibition can be seen here at slanted.de.
