Tilt-Shift-Maker

"Tilt-shift photography refers to the use of camera movements on small- and medium format cameras. Miniature faking is a post-processing technique, which involves selectively blurring a photo to simulate the narrow depth of field found in macro photography and some tilt-shift photography, making the image appear to be of a miniature model." You can fake this with photoshop - or more easily with tiltshiftmaker.com. The above photograph of Zurich was processed on this website within a few seconds.

Designer Richard Howe worked for two years to photograph all 11,000+ street corners in Manhattan:

"The Manhattan Street Corners is my working title for a project to produce a comprehensive photographic portrait of everyday life at street level in daytime Manhattan. Between March and November, 2006, I systematically photographed each and every one of the island’s roughly 11,000 street corners (the exact number is a matter of definition and, in some ambiguous instances, even a matter of judgment)."
